Description

With our 75% dark chocolate Alto Piura 75, we pay tribute to Peru, one of the birthplaces of wild heirloom cacao. It has preserved a rich heritage of native varieties, including the famous white beans of Gran Blanco cacao.

Rediscovered in 2008 by passionate sourcers, this white cacao has since been cultivated in the Alto Piura Valley in northwestern Peru. There, Gran Blanco reveals all its nobility—recognized as one of the finest in the world.

Our Gran Blanco beans are grown by a cooperative of small producers, according to the strictest rules of sustainable development and fair trade. Located at less than 800 metres above sea level, the plantations are exclusively worked using organic farming methods.

The farmers cultivate these plantations, located below 800 meters in altitude, exclusively according to the principles of organic farming.

Born from expert bean-to-bar craftsmanship, this 75% dark chocolate Alto Piura 75 highlights a rare origin, elevated by ORFÈVE’s artisanal excellence.
