A limited-edition chocolate in support of one of the world’s most respected humanitarian institutions, placing artisanal expertise at the service of a universal cause.
The Swiss chocolate manufacturer ORFĂVE, a reference in bean-to-bar craftsmanship and known for its commitment to both people and the planet, has created a bespoke chocolate for the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).
This exclusive creation reflects a shared intention: to convey the ICRCâs values of humanity, neutrality, and commitment through a meaningful product.
Active in over 100 countries, the ICRC works to support people affected by armed conflict and situations of violence, ensuring they receive the assistance and protection to which they are entitled.
Beyond emergency response, ICRC delegates help vulnerable communities regain financial independence and food security, so they can live with dignity despite the instability caused by war.
They reunite families separated by frontlines, ensure prisoners of war are treated humanely, and provide psychological support to survivors of sexual violence… In short, the ICRC works to preserve a sense of humanity at the heart of the darkest moments.
Conceived as a subtle tribute to the work of the ICRC, this chocolate embodies the core values of shared by ORFĂVE and the humanitarian organization, from working closely with local communities to crafting each gesture with excellence and care for all.
The beans used to craft this chocolate come from the Bejofo Farm, located in the Sambirano Valley near Ambanja, in the northwest of Madagascar.
Since 1920, this family-run estate has produced some of the countryâs most aromatic cacaos. It carefully preserves its heritage of old cocoa trees, following the principles of organic farming.
This 70% dark chocolate, Bejofo 70, is the result of rigorous bean-to-bar craftsmanship, revealing the full aromatic complexity of its terroir.
